This tutorial will show how to download the MasterTool X software.

1. DEVELOPMENT

Downloading MasterTool X is essential for the user to perform programming, configuration, and diagnostics of Altus PLCs, being the main software used for application development.

Access to the Altus website

To start the process:

  1. Open an internet browser
  2. Access the official website:aa
    altusautomation.com

Upon accessing, the user will be directed to the Altus homepage.

Access to the downloads area

On the homepage:

  1. Locate the central top menu
  2. Click on the Support option
  3. In the menu that appears, click on Download Center

After this, the user will be redirected to the Altus downloads area.

Download Center page

On this page, the user will have access to various content, such as:

  • Software
  • Firmwares
  • Technical documentation
  • Manuals
  • Support and engineering files

Download via quick links

At the top of the page, there is a quick links section, where:

  • The latest versions of the main software are made available
  • Among them, MasterTool X

In this case:

  1. Simply locate MasterTool X
  2. Click to start the download

Download using filters

If the user prefers to search manually:

  1. Scroll down to the download filters section
  2. Set the filters as follows:
  3. Category: Software
  4. Series: Nexto XF
  5. Function: Programming software

After applying the filters:

  • The list of available files will be displayed
  • Locate MasterTool X

Performing the download

  1. Click on the desired file
  2. The download will start
  3. Wait for completion

Practical applications

This procedure is used for:

  • Initial installation of the software
  • Updating to the latest versions
  • Access to Altus tools
