Nexto XF #67 – Source Code Upload Options to the PLC

The purpose of this tutorial is to explain how to upload a source code that is stored inside a PLC via MasterTool X.

Components

Equipment: 1 computer/laptop.

                            1 XF300/315/325/325-W

Software:  MasterTool X

A computer/laptop will be required to use MasterTool X.

In addition to the methods already presented previously, MasterTool IEC XE allows you to automatically configure the upload of the source code at specific moments of the project, facilitating the process and ensuring that the PLC is always up to date according to the user's needs.

Accessing the project settings

To configure this feature:

1. In the top menu, click on Project

2. Select Project Configuration

    

Source code upload configuration

Inside the configuration window:

1. Locate the option related to Source Code Download
2. A list will be displayed with different moments when the software can perform the upload automatically
